SynchroNice / Fourth Edition / 2019

And Exciting it was…. After the Short program, there was only a 1.24-point gap between the number one Par adise and number 4 Marigold IceUnity, closely followed by Les Suprêmes. As always, the house was totally packed during the Free. A screaming, cheering, singing and dancing crowd of delirious fans, waiting for the ultimate battle on ice. Thousands of fans, waving banners, flags and the home colors, all screaming out of devotion to their own team. Of all the competitions we’ve ever visited, there’s no competition that comes close to the atmosphere they can create in Rouen… It’s so electrifying and stimulating that even we automatically start shooting faster and more photos despite the bad lighting conditions. We are, for that matter, very much looking forward to the huge renovation they have planned for the facility by Spring 2020. We only hope that it won’t affect the annual party. The Senior competition itself was indeed thrilling, Team Surprise skated flawlessly and continued their leading position, but the Finnish teams competed like it was the Finnish Nationals. Marigold IceUnity ended up 2nd followed by the Helsinki Rockettes and 4th a very disappointed TeamUnique. I myself even believe that if Les Suprêmes would have skated in the final group, they would have received more points and therefore ended up in a higher position, maybe even on the podium. Notre Félicitations à la French Cup et à Sandrine Merci, Au revoir et à l'année prochaine. SYNCHRO NICE 177
