Maybe a stupid question, but what is your favorite team? Well… needless to say that our favorite team by far are the Helsinki Rockettes. They absolutely stand out with their beautiful skating style and we really admire their speed and ability to perform amazing elements on the ice! Do you have specific tasks within the team? This season, Team Fintastic consists of 26 special and unique skaters and all of us complete each other with our own roles in the team. Our job in our team is to relieve some pressures and to make everyone smile & laugh with our silly jokes! :D Do you believe Synchro is evolving? Yes, synchro is absolutely evolving and getting more profession­ al every year, we fully agree! To us, it is massively important that the entire synchro community supports one another and keeps on developing the sport! We need to continue idea sharing, exchange of best practices and learn from one another! It is also about promoting the sport, making the com­ petitions spectacular events that draw interest from both our fans but also frommedia. We also need to do exhibition performances at figure skating competitions and take the sport to areas where synchro is not so popular yet. A final thought on Synchro? Every skater relates to the feeling when on the ice in their own way. Every time we step on the ice, whether it’s the competition ice or just an ordinary Monday practice, the ice always feels like home. Skating is our true passion.
