Sweden, a beautiful country with a rich history, certainly when it concerns skating and it’s probably because of their harsh winters, but the Swedes have always been near top in any winter sport. Synchronized Skating is one of the disciplines in which they’ve also excelled over the years. The Swedish Team Surprise for instance was the first team to win the golden medal at a WSSC, back in 2000 in Minneapolis, USA, and have won six World titles, four silver medals and one bronze medal since that year, being more successful than any other team.
